Hello!
My name is Miguel Abreu and I am a graphic designer / illustrator born, raised and still living in Porto, Portugal. I have been lucky enough to work in the design industry since graduation, all the way back in 2010. Now, 15 years later, I finally decided to actually invest in my personal work.
Throughout my career I had the opportunity to work on several different areas, from travel agencies, to design studios and digital communication agencies, which gave me a lot of versatility and the ability to adapt to different work environments, teams and projects.
On the personal side, I'm a big fan of simple but striking graphics, hard lines and noisy textures. I like working with a reduced color palette, mainly halloween-ish tones. In case you missed, I love Halloween. It's something that inspires my work and my daily life in general. I enjoy everything around that holiday - the costumes, the decoration, the movies, the literature, the art and, mostly, the history and the folklore.
